Alison Sexton, Accounting & Administration
For more than 26 years, Alison Sexton has been an integral part of Lane’s Professional Pest Elimination, serving as the company’s Vice President and leading its accounting and administrative operations with dedication and precision. As the longest-tenured employee, Alison oversees the company’s financial management, including accounting, payroll, collections, financial reporting, scheduling, and administrative operations, while also providing day-to-day support to the Owner/President. Arriving at the office by 6:30 each morning, she helps ensure every day begins on the right track and is a trusted resource for employees seeking guidance, solutions, and support.
Alison’s journey into the pest control industry began unexpectedly when, as a young mother, she joined the family business at her mother’s encouragement. Starting in payroll, she quickly discovered a passion for numbers and financial management. Over the years, she has built extensive expertise in accounting and business operations, earning a reputation for her exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to solve complex problems that others might overlook. She believes in the philosophy, “Inspect what you expect,” a principle that has guided her successful career and leadership style.
What Alison enjoys most about her work is the camaraderie she shares with her coworkers. She appreciates the positive atmosphere, laughter, and supportive relationships that make Lane’s feel like family. Outside of the office, Alison enjoys slowing down and embracing life’s simple pleasures. With her children now grown, she spends weekends relaxing on her back porch, journaling, or soaking up the sunshine. She also enjoys traveling and has a tradition of collecting magnets from every destination as keepsakes of the memories she’s made. While she doesn’t currently have pets of her own, she occasionally enjoys dog-sitting Bella, a spirited Yorkie belonging to a close friend. And when it comes to comfort food, breakfast is always her favorite—whether it’s a meal from Waffle House or enjoying her love of Japanese and Mexican cuisine.
Favorite Comfort Food Breakfast food is Alison’s ultimate comfort meal. She could enjoy it any time of day. Waffle House is one of her go‑to spots, though she also loves Japanese and Mexican cuisine.
