His responsibilities include supporting technicians in the field, coordinating schedules, performing inspections and estimates, resolving customer concerns, and ensuring all work meets company and regulatory standards. Whether he’s solving operational challenges or helping customers understand the best treatment options, Chris is dedicated to keeping the department running efficiently while maintaining the high standards Lane’s is known for.

Chris’s journey into the pest management industry began unexpectedly when the company he was working for closed its doors, leaving him searching for a new opportunity. What started as a necessity soon became a rewarding career. Over the years, he has developed a genuine passion for the industry and credits much of his professional growth to the supportive culture and opportunities he’s found at Lane’s. He is especially proud of helping expand and strengthen the company’s termite department by developing new policies and scheduling procedures that have improved efficiency, increased technician productivity, enhanced reporting, and ensured customers receive the time and attention they deserve.

Chris specializes in termite management and serves as a trusted resource for both customers and teammates when it comes to identifying infestations, developing treatment plans, and solving complex termite-related issues. Committed to continuous learning, he has earned multiple professional certifications and regularly pursues additional training to stay current with industry regulations, products, and best practices. While termite management is his primary focus, he enjoys broadening his knowledge across all areas of pest management and operations so he can better support the entire Lane’s team. His belief that there’s always something new to learn has been a driving force throughout his career.

Chris enjoys beginning each workday with a plan. Checking in with his team, organizing priorities, and preparing for the day ahead allows him to confidently tackle whatever challenges arise. One piece of advice has remained a constant throughout his career: “Control what you can control.” He believes that while challenges are inevitable, choosing how to respond to them makes all the difference. Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending as much time outdoors as possible. Whether he’s traveling, exploring new places, or looking for his next adventure, he embraces opportunities to experience something different. At home, his faithful canine companion keeps life entertaining and is never far from his side. Chris also has a creative side that surprises many of his coworkers—he is currently learning the art of stained glass and enjoys baking homemade desserts for family and friends whenever he gets the chance. When it comes to comfort food, nothing beats a classic home-cooked meal of meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and green peas, a favorite that always reminds him that sometimes the simplest things are the most satisfying.
