Travis Huggins, Operations Coordinator
What is your official title, and how would you describe your day-to-day role in simple terms?
I help organize day to day operations. Working with our awesome team to see all customers are receiving a quality service. Also, making sure that everyone has what they need to be productive while on the job.
What drew you to this industry or specific line of work?
I have always been an outdoors person enjoying nature and everything in it. Also, I like to solve problems.
What is a project or achievement you’re proudest of since joining the team?
Since joining the team at Lanes I have enjoyed solving some difficult problems with bedbugs and roaches. Helping people have a better quality of life.
What are your primary areas of expertise or skills you love utilizing?
If I had to list any skills or expertise’s it would be deescalating problems, understanding the customers concerns, being detailed on inspecting for any issues or things that can cause an issue. I am also very handy with fixing almost anything.
What is the best piece of career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have ever received is to always be honest and on time. Also, be willing to work even if it seems to be a challenge because you will never learn if you don’t make mistakes.
What are we most likely to find you doing on a Saturday morning or over the weekend?
When I am not working you may find me Fishing on the river somewhere or cutting grass. I also enjoy teaching Sunday school at my church and running the sound system during the worship service. If they need someone to fill in for a bass player, I will do that also.
Do you have any pets?
I have two dogs a pit bull named Ruger; he is 11 years old and a Labrador named Tucker he is 3 years old. They are very spoiled. Ruger (we call him the old man) likes to lay around and snuggle. Tucker wants to play ball 24 7. He rather play ball than eat.
What is your ultimate comfort food, or a local restaurant you swear by?
People can go to any restaurant they want to but, there is nothing like waking up in the morning and catching fish, stopping on the river bank and cooking the fish you just caught. Doing this with friends and family is better than any place I could think of to eat.
